I ground up my thoughts

I ground up my thoughts

and put them in my coffee

they tasted

light and rich

deep

but not very full

then the flavor vanished

at the bottom of my cup

as I realized

I was drinking thoughts of

you

at the base of my attentions

so I poured out my cup

and started over
